Sebastian is the Principal Research Communications and Engagement Officer for the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health. Sebastian is responsible for communications and engagement initiatives that share the amazing work the Poche Centre's researchers are doing. 

Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication and French and a Masters in Classical History.

Prior to this role, Sebastian worked across the Queensland Government. Sebastian was the Communications Officer for a multi-agency data linkage project that was focused on improving outcomes for at risk young people. He previously worked as a Communications and Media Officer in the Queensland Police Media Unit, leading proactive media campaigns and reactive responses to media inquiries and events.
