Sharon is a non-Indigenous woman employed as the Centre Manager for the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health. Her primary focus is supporting the Director and Executive team in managing the ongoing growth and development of the Centre. She is responsible for managing all operational functions of the Centre to ensure organisational and financial sustainability.
Sharon’s background is in human resource management as well as operational and program management. Most recently, she has been working in the not-for-profit sector, where her focus has been on supporting First Nations high school and university students to increase university enrolment numbers and graduation success rates and, in turn, representation of First Nations peoples in professional roles.
