Researcher biography
Donisha is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman from Thursday Island, Torres Strait. Her family are Wuthathi Traditional Owners of Eastern Cape York, with ancestral ties to Badu, Moa, and Mabuiag Islands in the Torres Strait.
She has over 20 years of industry experience in health and Indigenous affairs, with positions across Federal and State governments, as well as within the non-government and community-controlled health sectors.
Donisha has an MBA from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Griffith University.
