Rebekah is an Indigenous woman with broad experience in higher education, research coordination, and community-focused health programs. As HDR Engagement Coordinator at the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health, she supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HDR candidates, leads student engagement activities, and helps strengthen pathways into MPhil and PhD programs. She also contributes to strategic planning, program development, and initiatives aimed at supporting future Indigenous researchers.

With more than 15 years’ experience in Indigenous health, including community-based roles within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Services, Rebekah brings a grounded, community-informed approach to her work.
