Academic positions across broad range of health disciplines now available

We are at an exciting time in the UQ Poche Centre's lifecycle, with a rapidly growing team dedicated to progressing a visionary research agenda to achieve real outcomes that have direct impact and benefit to our community. We are searching for dynamic, inspired researchers to develop their own research program, attract funding, and build up a strong team around them. As part of this growth, we're looking to recruit multiple positions at Academic Level C, Senior Research Fellow, and Level D, Principal Research Fellow, across a broad range of health disciplines, including (but not limited to):

  • Epidemiology – particularly specialists in participatory, critical or Indigenous epidemiological approaches – across a range of endpoints, such as infectious diseases, chronic disease, mental health, nutrition
  • Health services research – particularly community-controlled health services
  • Qualitative and quantitative social sciences, particularly with disciplinary training in Indigenous studies, sociology, anthropology, international development studies, political science, economics or social psychology
