As part of National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June), the UQ Poche Centre invites you to a special Seminar Series event featuring some of Australia’s most respected leaders in reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rights: Professor Jackie Huggins AM FAHA, Professor Tom Calma AO, and moderator, The Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO.

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, calls on all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation, not only during this week but every day. It is a time to deepen our understanding of shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to reflect on the role each of us plays in shaping a more just and equitable future.

Together, the panel will explore:

• What All In means in practice for individuals, organisations and communities.
• Reflections on truth-telling, rights and relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community.
• Insights from lived experience and leadership that move reconciliation beyond intention to meaningful action.

This event offers an important opportunity to listen, learn and be inspired, because reconciliation is not a spectator endeavour; it requires all of us to step forward, engage and act.
