Making a lasting impact for Indigenous Communities.
The UQ Poche Centre manages numerous Indigenous-led community projects, such as our infectious disease program encompassing vaccine preventable diseases, STIs and blood borne viruses, and rheumatic heart disease program, our Mums and Bubs program encompassing the journey from preconception to adolescents, our health services research program including models of care, and implementing antiracism in health care, and our urban Indigenous health and wellbeing program.

“We work closely with the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) and over 100 Aboriginal community-controlled health services (ACCHS) across Australia to transform First Nations peoples’ experiences of injustice and inequity in health.
