Yarning about COVID survey

About the research project

COVID-19 has had a big impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the country. With a flood of new information about lockdowns, wearing masks, border closures, and vaccines.

It can be hard for mob to know how where to look for trusted advice on how to keep their family and community safe.

The Yarning about COVID (YAC) survey asks Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people where they get COVID-19 information from what they know about COVID-19.

The results of this research project will be reported back to your local Aboriginal Medical Services and Indigenous health peak bodies so that they can make better informed decisions about the health messages they share with communities.

To participate in the study, follow the link below to complete the online survey. If your community or organisation would like paper copies of the survey please contact: poche@uq.edu.au

Everyone who completes the survey can enter a draw to win 1 of 5 iPads.

People who nominate to have a follow-up interview and are chosen by the research team will also receive a $100 gift card.
