Edwin Dyson is a Torres Strait Islander man from Moonta in South Australia. Edwin Completed his Bachelors of Medical Science from Flinders University before relocating to Brisbane to undertake a Masters of Public Health at the University of Queensland.

Edwin has joined the UQ Poche Centre on the Vice-Chancellor’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Graduate Program while balancing his Masters. Edwin is working as a research assistant on new novel projects being developed here at the UQ Poche Centre. He’s excited to gain professional experience within his discipline and translate the skills he learns to real-world applications. Edwin’s ultimate goal is to help make a positive contribution to society.
