Emily Brand has worked across both the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and the UQ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit since completing her Bachelor of Arts in History and Gender Studies.

In her role as Project Officer at the Poche Centre, Emily coordinates a number of research and academic activities. She currently oversees the Centre's Summer and Winter Research Program for undergraduate and coursework masters students.

Emily is also employed as a tutor and enjoys teaching in ABTS1000 and ABTS2010 in the Indigenous Studies major.
